Our dream was to see people enjoying Amelia Park lamb and beef complemented by a great range of red and white wines. Partnering with winemaker Jeremy Gordon in 2009 – a previous Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy winner – was the start of an amazing journey into the wine industry.
Buying in quality grapes from older vines gave Jeremy and the fledgling Amelia Park wines the opportunity to produce the best wines without the decades of developing a vineyard like other established brands.
To this day, Jeremy works closely with a select group of premium vineyards to achieve the superior and consistent fruit that characterises his exceptional wines.
‘The secret to great wine is as simple as spending a lot of time in vineyards, walking vineyards, tasting fruit and relying on your senses more than anything else,’ Jeremy says.
Since 2009 Jeremy’s great skill as a winemaker has been recognised with multiple awards both in Australia and internationally. In 2015 he was a finalist in the international Red Winemaker of the Year at the prestigious International Wine Challenge in London.
Amelia Park wines are now exported to the UK, United States, China, Singapore, Philippines, India, and other growing international markets.
